At MWT, we know that our services aren't for everyone. We appreciate that some people may value more intensive support, or alternative offerings, and we hugely encourage men to reach out to organisations they feel may be able to provide the support that's right for them.
Below are some of our recommendations for further support.
IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS IN NEED OF URGENT SUPPORT WITH THEIR MENTAL HEALTH, PLEASE CALL 999 OR NHS 111.
Andy’s Man Club:
“ANDYSMANCLUB are a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online. We want to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation. #ITSOKAYTOTALK”

Talk Club:
“Talk Club is a talking and listening club for men,
offering talking groups, sports groups and therapy to help keep you mentally fit.
It’s a simple medicine that starts with asking – How are you, Out of 10?
By checking in regularly with yourself and other men,
Talk Club creates a community that we are all missing in today’s world.”

ManKind initiative:
“Our confidential helpline is available for male victims of domestic abuse and domestic violence across the UK as well as their friends, family, neighbours, work colleagues and employers.
We provide an information, support and signposting service to men suffering from domestic abuse from their current or former wife, partner (including same-sex partner) or husband. This can range from physical violence or object throwing to abuse such as constant bullying or insults.”

UK Men’s Sheds Association:
“Men’s Sheds (or Sheds) are similar to garden sheds – a place to pursue practical interests at leisure, to practice skills and enjoy making and mending. The difference is that garden sheds and their activities are often solitary in nature while Men’s Sheds are the opposite. They’re about social connections and friendship building, sharing skills and knowledge, and of course a lot of laughter.”
